One of the things I love to hear from a sales candidate is an ability to adapt and embrace any channel necessary in order to build client relationships. An understanding of how social media can be an effective sales tool is desirable to potential employers.
Social can achieve a very personal approach in a time-effective and far-reaching way, making for better relationship building, prospect research and customer service… if you know how to use it!
Get it wrong and you’ll easily end up annoying your clients. For this reason, salespeople who have a track-record building online relationships are going to get noticed.
Talented sales professionals who speak multiple languages have some fantastic opportunities available to them
We’ve seen an explosion in demand for multi-lingual sales talent across the conference and exhibitions sector recently. The industry is always expanding and any business running shows overseas will benefit from salespeople who can comfortably communicate with their target market.
