The wonderful Hayley Makepeace was part of the tfconnect family for just 20 short months but left an incredible impression on all the people she touched during her time with the business.
Hayley very sadly lost her brave and positive battle with bowel cancer just eight days short of her 30th Birthday. We are thankful to everyone who gave her so much encouragement and for all the messages of support she received while she was fighting – she loved reading them. Hayley never lost hope and her legacy is an amazingly positive one.
She bowled into our events recruitment business, stormed the phones and in hours was doing what others take many months to achieve. She loved her job and her job loved her! Before long, a steady stream of industry friends queued up to confess to that they’d met Hayley on tfconnect business and found themselves offering her a job!
Hayley didn’t do quiet – and her enthusiasm (and volume!) was always amazing. Hayley didn’t climb mountains or swim the seas – she did something much more valuable and selfless. To family, friends and business, she gave. She gave smiles, laughter, energy and most of all she gave love. If you think or talk about Hayley every day, you will smile more, laugh more and love more!
The end of Hayley’s life was made so much happier and more comfortable by the amazing care of the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. It costs approx. £4.8 million a year for them to provide their essential services and we would like to invite you to donate to the hospice in Hayley’s memory. Your gift will make a real difference to the patients and families that the hospice cares for every day of the year.
